Normal to only make like 1ml of milk combined at 3-4 days pp

Im pretty much just pumping because my nipples are really sensitive and I had trouble latching him at first without tears and extreme pain . I’m only getting a few tiny drops though at already 3-4 days I thought I’d have more by now. We’ve been giving him formula because I don’t think a few drops are enough. Once I get my supply up I want to try latching him again , he’ll still latch to me occasionally but gets frustrated when nothing comes out. Is there still hope I’ll make enough to either feed him breastmilk or maybe even nurse him in the future? I have been pumping every two to four hours which I know I could be more consistent. I just remember with my first I had more milk by now even tho she was not latching and I wasn’t pumping as much. Also I have an appt with a lactation consultant already.

I just remember there being actual milk by now with my first and I’m still just getting tiny drops of colostrum which is frustrating. However he was also induced two weeks early so maybe that plays a role?
