1y9m not able to say proper words

My son is turning 1y9m this June, but he is still unable to say proper words “mommy””daddy””yes””ball” etc. however he is constantly talking in gibberish language and can say “No” “This”, imitate few animals sound.

I’m a first time mom and super concern on his speech progress. We went to see the paeds and the doctor said all is well after he did simple assessment on my baby. But stilll i would love to know if anyone else is experiencing the same or had it before. What are the tips or advisee
