When is the absolute soonest to find out gender

We have an ultrasound at 15 weeks. What are the chances we will find out the gender???

The earliest via US is about 10 weeks but it may be difficult. Blood test after 11 weeks.

I'm going to my OB for a normal appointment at 14 weeks. He said he's almost sure he will be able to see it then, but that we will go in a few weeks after to get our official ultrasound done to find out the sex. He look at 11+4 the last time I went in, but it was too tiny to tell.

There's a local place where I have booked an elective ultrasound for 15 weeks to find out the gender. Online it says 16 weeks but the woman I spoke to said 15 weeks. It's a 2D/3D ultrasound, I don't know if that makes any difference.
