A little upset... 😒

I went to my OB today to confirm the pregnancy ( must be done to set appointment with the doc) and to get a test order for blood work. And i just realized I won't actually see my doctor until I'm approximately 11 weeks! I feel like that's a really long time. I haven't had any checks, scans or nothing. Is this normal? Btw, It's my first pregnancy.
