My husband and I met on OKCupid and did EVERYTHING "wrong." We hooked up on the first date and moved in the first month! We got married at 2 years and our third son (first together but we're raising our kids from previous marriages together) will show up for our third anniversary!

Some online platforms are better than others . I know a few people who have found love on tinder but I get the impression most guys go on tinder looking for a quick hook up and not "the one." I would try a different one.

Personally no...I never have relied on social media or technology to find me a relationship. I met the man I am going to marry through friends and I feel that it means a lot more meeting face to face and striking up a conversation. I am just old school like that though. I would rather talk face to face than have my first convo be through IM'ing or text messaging

I have never been on tinder but from what I've gathered it's more of a "hook up" app. That's not to say you wouldn't get dates, it just be be a little tougher finding someone serious on there
