I have my first appointment on January 22nd, at which time I'll be about 6.5 weeks along. I called to ask if I'd get an ultrasound at my first appointment and the woman said the first appointment is just to confirm the pregnancy and an ultrasound would be a separate appointment, usually between 6 and 8 weeks along. I asked if I would be able to request one since I have had a MMC in the past. She said if the doctor thinks it's necessary they'll order one.
