Not sure

So I'm not sure if this is from pms or I could be pregnant. When I went to the bathroom I had a string of clearish discharge. It's like when you're on your period but I'm not because I'm not bleeding. I don't remember this happening before my period before. I know this can happen in your first trimester of pregnancy I just don't remember it happening to me. I did take a pregnancy test and it was negative but I'm not yet past my period due date so I'll probably take another one once I'm past. I just wanted to get others opinions on this because I am not very patient lol
