Ultrasound early??

Question

Has anyone had an ultrasound at 5 weeks..? I have a possible UTI or yeast infection and they told me they would go ahead and do my first ultrasound then... I will only be 5 weeks and 2 days. Can you see/ hear anything at this point??

At 5 weeks all I saw was a sac and yolk sac

I just hate that there is a possibility of not being able to see it or check on it... 😕 I go to a specialist for Endo, so hopefully they will have updated equipment! I just want to know baby is ok.

This was my first ultrasound 5-6 weeks the first time I found out I was pregnant with my twins

I got one at 5 weeks 6 days. I saw yok sac and baby. Baby was very small but it was pulsating and technician said that was the little heart. I called it my dot :) and yes they can date at that stage. Thats the whole reason mine was done. Depends how good of equipment doc has

Yes I found out at 5weeks and I knew then I was expecting twins

At 5w4d all I saw was a yolk sac. No baby no heartbeat that early. They can't even date that early..
