Has anyone had an ectopic pregnancy?

How long did it take you to (for lack of better terms) "get over" it... I hate that term I really do... I had one in June 2013 and I'm still upset over it, still find myself waking up crying over it, still almost fearful that my next pregnancy will be another one. I've had one boy since (found out a year to the day from surgery that I was pregnant and he had the same due date...weird right?) And my SO says there's nothing to worry about, he'll be there with me if it were to happen again, but I'm still terrified. Possibly pregnant now (okay, I know I'm pregnant but he's making me wait til Friday to get a test done haha), and all the same emotions are flooding back as when I found out I was pregnant with my youngest. Will this fear ever go away???

I had an ectopic pregnancy in November 2014 and it was such a hard thing to get thru. I am now 35 weeks pregnant and I was terrified the first trimester but now I am much better and I am getting through it great. Best of luck to you!!

I had an ectopic march 2014..i would aleays stay up late and cry, i would always think about it and think i wasnt gonna be able to get pregnant again since we starded trying after 6mths..and im now currently 9wks. Hoping and wishing for a healthy pregnancy and a healthy baby !

The hurt never goes away, it gets easier the more you grieve but the heartache will always be there.. Mine was 3 years ago and it still hurts me, I've had a little boy who's 20 month now, and I always think what if my other baby was here how would they be together, and I'm due baby number 2 March but Cana arrive anytime because of complications... When I fell pregnant I was terrified and kept thinking the worse (I had to have My right tube removed) and it was hard because I thought if it happens again and I lose my other tube I'm doomed, but I've gone on to have 2 babies (soon) they haven't replaced my first child I lost and when they grow up theyll now they have a sister/brother in heaven X

I feel like ive been ttc for 9 years. Never had any accidental scares and never had any miscarriages.. found out i was pregnant December 2013 and was so excited till we found out it was ectopic. It took 2 long years to get pregnant again. In fact exactly 2 years December 2015, and unfortunately to my worst fears it was ectopic again.. This time they removed my bad tube so you would think that would ease my mind a little knowing it cant happen again, but the devastation and fear will never ever go away. Even now we are looking to IVF. And ive just learned even with ivf a pregnancy can fall ectopic. Sometimes i just feel hopeless. Ill always have that scary feeling

I have not had eptopic but am currently pregnant and was originally told this pregnancy was almost definitely etopic they waited a week did another sono and said it def was my husband and i were devestated and had been walking on eggshells since the following week they sent me for an mri to see exactly where it was and found out that i have s heart shaped uterus and baby is in there but was out of sight of the sono and i still feel  that i have been scarred from just being told i was eptopic and believing that for almlst 2 weeks while they decided how i would be treated. I have since seen the babies heart beat be heslthy 2 times snd i am still lying awake at night terrified and panicing over evey pain and twinge i feel that maybe i still am eptopic and they are wrong now instead of wrong the first 4 appts i had. I think it is a traumatic thing to experience i can only imagine it is even more traumatic when it ruptures, but i stil feel i can relate to this topic and that the feelings of fear probably never go away

I had one in October of 2014. I'm still not over it and I'm pregnant again. I'm better than I was but there are times it catches me off gard. It really hits me hard in those moments.
