At home Sperm Check Fertility??

My doctor referred my DH to a fertility clinic to have a Sperm Analysis done.  After making the appt., I saw that Target has a Sperm Check Fertility kit. Has anyone ever tried these?  Did they work?  I'm just curious because our insurance will not cover the Sperm Analysis and it is $175.00 out of pocket. Any opinions?

Read the reviews on Amazon, they have horrendous reviews. Doctors also tell you it's a total money waster. Here's the thing it can detect sperm but it can't tell you anything about it. That's important. Without my husbands sperm analysis we wouldn't know that he has enough BUT antibodies are killing them. We wouldn't know the morphology and motility were low. These are important characteristics in the analysis that you need to know. I would highly recommend getting it done the proper way.

We just took one today. They're good for telling you if he has normal sperm count or not and that's it. So, we did it as kind of a first step at getting him tested at the clinic (he's nervous about it) and after testing today we're both much more comfortable and at least we know he's got swimmers and enough of them (we've been ttc for 2 years and I've been pregnant before with someone else and I've been tested so it's either him or just unexplained) so even though it didn't answer ALL the questions it just eased our minds a bit.

Worked for us. It said low. And was confirmed by Dr to be low

We did both tests. Home test said normal count. Doctors test said normal count. But the doctors test tells you more specifics like which ones have tails and which ones have heads etc.

Bought it from target last week and did it at home. It was a little time consuming but pretty easy otherwise. The results were normal.

If you have a rite aid near you they have them for 40$ and you can YouTube on how to do it perfectly

My SO did it.. Helped us.. Came back he had low sperm count.. Checked with the Dr to verify and said yes but told him ways to up it... His Dr said they're not reliable, unless done EXACTLY how it tells you, down to the wait time... Maybe a 50/50 chance
