Post D&C this sucks

Miscarrying is horrible enough on it's own then getting a d&c and being told not to ttc until I have had a period 2 or 3 times. I feel so defeated and broken. I can't stop obsessing over this. At the same time all I can do is sit and wait until my body is ready. Why does 2 months suddenly seem like a lifetime. Did anyone have a successful pregnancy 2 cycles after their d&c?
