How much weight gain per trimester with twins?

What's the recommended or average weight gain expected for each trimester with twins?

Pre-pregnancy I was 140.

I'm 8w3d and I've gained about 3 pounds so far.

I gained 15 lbs in my first trimester and only 5 lbs in my second trimester. By 18 weeks I had gone from my starting weight of 140 lbs to 160 lbs. Doctor said I was on track. It's harder to gain by the time the babies start getting bigger. I could barely eat and fit anything in my belly by 16 weeks. Unfortunately I lost the babies at 19w from cord entanglement (they were momo twins). For momos, we usually give birth between 24-32 weeks so they want you to put on weight earlier, which was fine for me because the only thing that eased my morning sickness was eating. A lot of that weight tho is amniotic fluid and extra blood. I was 10 lbs lighter immediately after my surgery.

Check out Dr. Barbara Luke's book about what to expect for twins, triplets, and quads. She's done a lot of research on multiple pregnancies and found that women who gain 25 pounds by 20 weeks have bigger babies at birth no matter their gestational age when compared to other babies born at same gest age. It's also apparently hard to gain much weight towards end bc there isn't as much room for your stomach. I'm already experiencing difficulty eating much and I'm only 21 weeks so I can only imagine how little stomach room I have in the coming weeks.

I've gained almost 60 and I'm 30plus weeks and both boys weigh 4 pounds each

For twins there isnt a set amount. Each pregnancy is different. On average for a twin pregnancy it is normal to gain 25-35lbs 
Im 33 wks and have gained 26 lbs

Actually they say u should only gain about 10 lbs more than a singleton birth total of around 35lbs but dont worry about it some gain more some gain less im 15weeks and I've lost 17lbs in my first trimester I was sicker than crap this pregnancy morning sickness made up for being non existent in my last to pregnancies even with my first pregnancy being twins

Your not supposed to gain much in first trimester. But I do know your supposed to gain around fifty pounds. I'm at week 27with boys and only gained 5 but I'm sure the majority of it will come more towards the end.
