Colin came early!

I was due 1/31/16.  I woke up from a dead sleep at 2:30 am on Jan. 1st only to have my water break a few seconds later.  I was only dilated 2 cm when we got to the hospital & baby was really high up.  Hours later nothing had changed so they helped me along with pitocin.  After 14 & 1/2 hours Colin finally arrived!  He had breathing difficulties from  the start due to being early but he was an impressive 7 lbs for a preemie!  The hardest part was not getting to hold him right after he was born because they had to work on his breathing.  Finally he got to come to my room with me but had to be transferred back to the NICU the next day due to sleep apnea episodes.   He was in the NICU for 11 days before getting to go home. But he's finally home with us & he's just perfect!  And the best part of the story is that he was the New Year's baby at our hospital!  The pic is Colin in the NICU & Colin today.
