Swimming trunks for hospital bag?

Question

So I was watching a video on YouTube about what one mom brought in her hospital bag. She said she is gonna take swimming trunks for her husband in case she needs help in the shower afterwards.. But also if he's in the shower helping her and for some reason a nurse needs to assist then he's not naked lol 
I'm a FTM so is this a good idea? I don't want to overpack, so did any of you experienced moms need help in the shower and would you recommend that?

From a nurse's point of view... First of all, we'd never walk in on anyone in the shower unless they'd rung the call bell. Secondly, we've seen sooo many naked men and women all day long, (put in catheters, wiped butts, etc) that even if we saw you and your husband showering naked, we wouldn't bat an eye. In fact, it'd be much weirder to walk in and see a man wearing a bathing suit in the shower. I'd be like, "What?! Who showers in a bathing suit?"

Lol there's a door to the bathroom and also your room door will be closed and the nurses will knock first. You don't have to bring those unless you want to. But no one is going to walk in on you.

With my first I ended up having to have a c-section so I was really sore and on pain meds at the time it was time to take my first shower.  My mom as well as my then boyfriend who is now my husband were both in the room and my mom asked would I rather her or him give me a shower. Although it was clear we obviously had sex, because we weren't married and my mom was in the room I kind of felt weird for him to do so so I let my mom give me a shower (and she didn't have to get in with me!). That was 6 years ago and we are now married expecting our 2nd sometime in early September, haven't had our first appointment. I have to say, if this situation happens again and it's him or my mom, I would probably pick my mom again because she'd be much gentler.

I had a huge hospital room to myself and the shower definitely wasn't big enough for my husband to get in a help me lol. I had him hold my hand while getting in and out just in case i slipped.

My husband didn't bring those, & I managed in the shower just fine on my own, but I guess it would depend on the type of delivery you had and how you feel afterwards. But if you want to bring swim trunks for him you can, it won't hurt.
