New boyfriend

So I just got out of an abusive relationship in December. We were together for 1 year & 4 months. Now I've been seeing a new guy since the end of December and he's great, met him through Instagram and when I first went over to his place he had flowers and a teddy bear for me. He didn't try to have sex with me the first time I met him either, we been dating since the end of December and he still hasn't tried to have sex is this a good sign? He's a really sweet guy too
