Breast tenderness

Ok so my husband and I are TTC but we only just started a few days ago. I'm supposed to get my period today and I have never ever had breast tenderness with my periods before. The only time they have hurt this bad was when I was breast feeding my daughter. They also feel very warm to the touch like when my milk would come in and I had too much. I have no idea what it could be but I can't even touch them without wincing and it has been going on for over a week?
