So this sounds kind of silly, but I'm wondering if it's safe for me to use a tampon 4 days after I've gotten my IUD inserted. My doctor told me not to for about a week "to let things heal," but I'm going to be back at dance today and a pad just won't cut it with the bleeding I've been experiencing. Even worse, I can't wear underwear with a leotard so a tampon is a must. Thoughts?
