Ok let me start off by saying that I'm a big worrier and it hasn't helped with my family giving me all these crazy scenarios.. Im a ftm.. Ok yesterday I had mild contraction far apart and went to er and they said it was just Braxton hicks and sent me home.. Im scheduled for a c section Friday.. But now my mil is telling me that they shouldn't have let me go home cause when she had my husband she also didn't dilate and had very little pain and he ended up pooping in the womb and almost died.. My mother is worse she had a friend that lost her baby about 6 months ago because again she had little to no contractions and they kept sending her home saying it wasn't time yet and the baby ended up being born dead.. Which now she's suing the practice I believe.. Now here I am panicking.. When I spoke to the nurse she assured me that when it's time I'll know.. But this is my first what if my body fails me and I don't get the normal signs.. I'm just a scared ftm that can't wait to have my baby in my arms.. Im currently 38+weeks so I know it's possible it was just false labor pains but I just wish there was a more definitive answer.. Any experiences or words of wisdom much appreciated..
