Appetite loss?

Question

Has anyone ever lost their appetite almost completely? I'm only 16 weeks and my so and roommate have to remind me to eat because I lost my appetite. When I do eat I can barely eat anything! I'm also on bed rest.  I'm wondering if I'm depressed being on bed rest? Or I'm just not in the kitchen as much so I'm not wanting to eat?

Yes i thought i was wierd, but it has come back. Sometimes i eat little bits and feel soo full though.

When I felt no appetite I would eat pb&j, had like 10 diff cereal, and baked potatoes to make sure I was getting some nutrients. Very easy on the stomach

I dont have a medical answer to your questions. If your worried about it being depression talk to your doctor. It could be a real possibility being confined to bed. As for the eating you may be less hungry because you're doing less?? for me the appetite came in stages. In first few months i was starved then it went away and has been off an on since. Ultimately your doctor will let you know if its effecting your babys growth rate.

I lost mine a few times and right now (36 w tomorrow) I still don't feel like eating. Only a few times did I get that "omg I want to eat everything!!!" Feeling.  I drink protein shakes a lot and force myself to eat. Sometimes I want something and crave it so badly but then by the time it's in front of me I don't want it anymore. This is all killing me because I am such a fat kid at heart! I love food so much and miss it!!! Talk to your doc and keep telling yourself that you need to eat! One day at a time. You got this!
