Faint fetal pole with yolk sac

Today, I had my first ultrasound scan and according to the scan i am 6 weeks 4 days pregnant which I thought i was 7 weeks 4 days. I am not really sure what does faint fetal pole means? I have researched online and mostly its no fetal pole or no yolk sac but no faint fetal pole. Has this happened to anyone? Doctor says that its late conception and I should wait for 15 days for next ultrasound. Is this normal at  6 weeks having faint fetal pole?
