Measuring ahead?

Question for those of you who went for a scan and baby was measuring ahead of what you thought you'd be....do they change the due date to reflect the new gestation age given.

My doctor kept my original due date, which was a few days later than what the baby was measuring. They said they keep the date unless it's a week's difference. Personally, I change the date according to how my baby is being measured.

I went in thinking 7 weeks and 5 days and the baby measured 8 weeks 1 day. Even though it's just a 3 day difference my dr moved all of my dates to reflect the 8 weeks and 1 day
