What teas are safe for me to drink? I'm almost 6 weeks pregnant

I'm a big fan of my casual black British tea with a lot of milk. I have been told a lot that black tea should be avoided. So what other teas are safe for me to give a try? 😊 thanks

I love love peppermint tea it always helped me especially if I wasn't feeling well and don't worry I made sure I could definitely have it and it's okay it's caffeine free as well

Any herbal organic tea is fine they're all caffeine free and taste fine with just water and no milk. Raspberry red leaf tea is supposed to be really good for you and baby during pregnancy I personally like lemon ginger (helps with morning sickness) and yummy with some honey and chamomile tea before bed

Do you like Rooibos tea? That could be a good substitute for black tea as it is caffeine free and you can still have it with milk 😊 Personally I have been drinking peppermint or peppermint/lime tea as they're the only herbal teas I really enjoy, and peppermint is good for aiding digestion. Herbal teas that are caffeine free should be fine! Ginger would be good for any morning sickness.

I have lemon & honey tea, I make it myself, just boil watee add a slice of lemon and a tea spoon of honey & allow it to brew so tasty & healthy aswell contains vitamins C, i tried the Rooibos tea but i really hate the smell & the taste, i am in my third trimester & I did have the occasional tea though 1 or 2 cups should be okay but if you are a tea lover like me try the lemon & honey it's a great substitute, specially because there's so many perceptions on herbal tea, check with your doctor or midwife which herbal tea are safe.
