Ok so sushi anyone??

Alright so I absolutely love sushi and that's all iv been craving has anybody eaten sushi wile pregnant and had the baby turn out completely fine? And if not sushi at least California rolls??

I eat raw sushi just like every other pregnant Japanese woman on earth.

Processed foods microwaved in plastic, artificial flavors, colors, food additives, fluoride, and hfcs are what you should really be worried about.  Not fish!!!  It's totally ludicrous

Personally i wont even eat california rolls because i feel like they could be made in the same place as the rest of the sushi. I just dont want to risk the cross contamination

I ate a ton of sushi so far, raw fish and all. Maybe don't eat a mountain of tuna because of the Mercury, and definitely get it from a place you trust, but it's really unlikely to hurt you and the baby, and fish is full of omega threes which the baby needs. Japanese women eat raw fish for their whole pregnancy.

I'd w ups only get it from a highly reputable place that you know cares about cleanliness. Sushi chefs typically make rolls with bare hands so keep that in mind. They aren't usually washing hands between making a salmon roll to a shrimp tempura to a Cali roll either. I'm a sushi lover myself and have given into a couple Cali rolls so far. The risk is low, but it's there. There have been women I know of that ate sushi every week until baby was born and everything was ok. It's up to you ☺️

I saw frozen clali rolls at my store, ( no where near as good as fresh!) and made me not feel good afterwards. That ended my cravings lol

I went through a phase of wanting only salmon avocado sushi so I settled on just avocado sushi and it satisfies my craving every time.

I've been opting for eel rolls! The eel is always fully cooked, and the place I go will wash hands/utensils/counter before making mine if I ask them to. We are regulars though, and the owner is friends with my hubby... So not sure if that has much to do with the special treatment or not.

Been eating chicken teriyaki sushi and shrimp tempura... Not often but it's not as bad
