How's your intake on getting the flu shot?

I had to get the flu shot from my doctor a couple of days ago and now I'm sick like a dog. This happens every time I get the shot. Anyone else have this problem?

Flu shots do not make you sick unless you're allergic to an ingredient. The flu shot doesn't contain live flu virus so it's impossible to get sick from the flu. Studies have shown that women who get the flu shot during pregnancy are slightly less likely to miscarry and will pass the immunity to your baby after it is born. It is a good (great!) idea to get you're flu shot.

I've never had it during my pregnancy. I think I only have ever got it once. My kids have never had it and my husband hasn't either! Not that I'm totally against it but I just don't see it necessary.

The worst thing that has ever happened to me after getting the flu shot was a sore arm. My mum got one every year (military) and would get sick occasionally afterward, so I was afraid that I would, too, but never have.

I've gotten the flu shot a few times and never been sick. Then I got it this year because my doctor insisted on it because I'm pregnant and I was so sick!!! I had to call in to work. I was very upset. I won't ever get it again. Also I just got over having some type of flu this week. So
