I think BMI is kind of a joke. People have different body types and some people are just fine at a heavier weight. If everyone relied on BMI, then every body builder on earth would be labeled as obese and that's obviously not true.

To be honest BMI is a joke! I'm 31.9 but in the uk we have to be over 35 to be consultant led! I lost a lot of weight a few years ago! I was a size 10 (uk size) and a very nice body (it's long gone now,ha) but according to BMI I was still 'Overweight'! I honestly wouldn't worry about it xx

Mine is 34/35 and I'm seeing the consultant for the first time today. I also have a whole raft of other issues, cos my body is clapped out and knackered, but that's another story. I wouldn't worry too much. From what I've been told by friends & family, being consultant-led just means more scans and attention...and that's no bad thing really.
