Anyone considering waterbirth or birth center ?

I'm considering a water birth at a birth center with midwives. I live in Colorado . anyone have any ideas on what to expect. What are you choosing for your birth plan?

I would recommend taking some sort of natural child birth class if you are considering that. Look into the Bradley Method. I tried to go natural with my first and it didn't happen.  I am even more determined to do it this time.  Also, consider a doula.  Also, if you need any help convincing yourself- or a SO that natural is the way to go, check out the movie The Business of Being Born. It changed my life.  Major pops for wanting a natural, drug-free child birth!

I'm going to a water birthing center here this week to check it out, I'm hoping I can do a water birth, my first child (5 years old now) was born naturally at the hospital.

I am considering a water birth. I would go to a hospital to have it, and I'd have to check and see which closest hospital offers water births.

I am opting for a water birth at the birthing centre that is run by midwives. Unfortunately the hospitals here do not provide the water birthing option and this is the only centre that does. Another centre I looked at only allows water "labour", and not water "birth" so that's another good thing to enquire about.
