TTC after birth control
Hi ladies! I'm curious about how long it took you to conceive after going off of BCP, specifically something like Sprintec (combination pill).
Background: I went on Sprintec in June 2009 to try to regulate my cycles/fix my cramps/help my acne/be able to not worry as much about pregnancy. The cramps and acne never got better, cycles were better, and I didn't get pregnant in college, so I guess it was worth it? Married my DH in August 2012, went off Sprintec in July 2013 because we moved and I no longer have a primary care doctor. We used condoms from July until April of this year, when we decided not to prevent anymore. My cycles were pretty regular even after going off BCP. Ever since April, though, it's been irregular cycles, crazy cramps, weird new symptoms, and BFNs. Well today I got AF a week early (according to Glow) and I'm just... I'm done. Did I do something wrong by going on BCP as a teenager? I'm getting really worried that something is wrong. I know I need to see a doctor, so I'm not really looking for that piece of advice, thanks. I just want to know- how long did it take you to conceive after BCP?
