Any military wives?

Have any of you got pregnant and then like 7 months or longer has your husband pcsed or EASed and you had to have another doctor deliver?

Yup! I'm 13 weeks right now. When I'm about 25 weeks we have to move. We were suppose to move when I was 8 months, but they said if we wanted to leave earlier we could. So in about 2 months were moving. This way I'll have more time to meet with the Dr opposed to meeting them for the first time when I'm giving birth. I also have a high risk pregnancy.

My husband PCSed when I was 32 weeks pregnant and I am now seeing a new doctor here who is going to deliver our little girl. Because I'm so far into my pregnancy and I was very familiar with my old doctor I requested that they share notes after my visits and kept in touch with each other so my new doctor would know my care plan ( because I'm high risk ) and birth plan.

Thanks ladies. I also hear that If I'm pregnant before my husband gets out I still have medical for the baby? I'll definitely be talking to the doctor about that.

AD for 7 years myself, and PCSd when I was 7 months pregnant with my 1st and 8 months pregnant with my 2nd...but the new dr thing wasn't an issue since I was active duty...I was seen on post regardless.  Now that I'm home (hubby is still AD), he waited to pcs until after our last baby was born :)
