Britax Recalls Nearly 71,000 Infant Car Seats
The car seats involved in the recall include the Britax B-Safe 35 and B-Safe 35 Elite infant car seat and travel systems. The CPSC advises consumers to “immediately stop carrying the car seat by the handle” until the repair is installed. The car seat can still be used when secured in a vehicle or on a stroller.
The products were manufactured between Oct. 1, 2014 and July 1, 2015, and sold at retailers including Target, Babies R’ Us, buybuyBABY and online retailers like Amazon.com and Diapers.com.
