Stethoscope question!

So my husband got me an interesting stethoscope for Christmas... I'm dying to hear the baby's heartbeat!!! I need the reassurance sometimes! Is there like a prime spot to try to try and hear it... Maybe it's too early to hear with a stethoscope? I'm 13 weeks and 2 days.
