With obamacare, can i change my plan whenever or am i locked in for a whole year?

Like what if I buy a plan & realize I can't pay that much & need to drop to a cheaper plan?

But if you have your baby its called a lofe altering event and you can look at changing your plan to something else

You should call the healthcare.gov toll free number for assistance. Every plan is different. There is not one answer to this. However, as a rule of thumb, you can go down in coverage but not up.

I believe you can change it. My husband and I got it last year and I had though my doctor had covered the insurence we signed up for and I found out she didn't so we went it and changed the insurence. I think as long as you sign up for Obamacare by the time open enrollment ends your fine but I would call them and double check. I'm sure if you can't end up affording an insurence they will help you pick a plan you can afford. It's supposed to be an affordable insurence
