Having a second girl and people act like its a tragedy.
Has anyone else experienced this? It's like we keep getting people's condolences because we found out we are having another girl. Like boys are somehow superior and we've failed by having two girls. We keep hearing, "Aww maybe the third will be a boy." But when people have two boys in a row it's great. Men tease my Husband and say, "you just don't have it in ya, Huh!?" Seems my husbands friends think it's so funny, and my in-laws (especially my father-in-law) are disappointed.
I mean, I get it that most daddies want a boy eventually. But It's getting old. I've just been ignoring people, but it's making me feel sad for my girls! We're so excited for another girl and it's taking away from our joy. Anyone else with only girls get this reaction from everyone?
