Break up and make up stories?

A week ago my long distance BF broke up with me after 4 months, he's my first relationship and though I'm coping, I still get really sad from time to time. I have a strong feeling that we'll get back together though 😌 It's just so hard to break up when you're both in love with each other and it's just the distance that's killing you.

Can you share stories where you and your SO broke up but got back together again? That would make me and others in the same situation feel much better and at least hold on to hoping he will change his mind 😌 Thank ya'll gorgeous ladies in advance ☺️

This happened to me! We broke up for 2 months, mainly his decision but it wasn't a bitter parting. During those two months we had absolutely NO contact, we didn't speak, see or message each other at all to allow us time to move on. That's one thing that is REALLY important- no matter what, you need to make an effort to move forward and move on. Sitting around and waiting for someone is the worst thing you can do! Sure you can be open to getting back together but it is essential that you don't "put all your eggs in one basket"... Be open to all possibilities equally, avoid banking on one idea! If it happens, it happens- but it's something you can't force :) I find that by being in a good place and stage of moving on, it made getting back together a much healthier choice, it feels like a totally new relationship between my boyfriend and I in the best way! Aw honey! I hope you're feeling better. The same situation happened with me. We broke up cause of the distance but time to time we kept getting back together but not labeling ourselves as boyfriend and girlfriend. We got back together 3 times, and at the end I just gave up. I was the one who decided that it won't work between us again even though I love him very much. It all depends on the situation and how well you handle it. Things come when you least expect it. I never bothered him to come back or even messaged him after we broke up but things will happen. If you ever need anyone to talk to I'm here (:

Aww I'm sorry, sweetie. I'm currently trying to get over my own break-up. Much like yours, there is a chance we will get back together, but at the same time I'm trying to move on and not wait around to jump at the moment he wants me back. He broke up with me because a lot of family drama was going on plus he has college and things were too overwhelming for him. He felt he could handle and sort everything out better if I wasn't around, which I understood completely. We haven't talked to each other since he left me. While my hope and prayer is that he'll come back after things calm down, the most important thing is to not get stuck or comfortable in the "He'll come back"-mindset (trust me, I know it's hard not to). Other than that, try doing things for you and that distract you. Listen to Tiana! She has given me so much great advice! :)
