Anyone had a membrane sweep before?

To the 2nd or 3rd time mum's have you had a membrane sweep before and if so....did you go into labour after it if so how long after the sweep did you go into labour?

Had membrane sweep done at 38weeks 5 days went into labor at 39 weeks 1 day in the afternoons and had my little man at 2am the next morning.

I went into labor about 48 hours later. I didn't do any research into it since it was my first and I trusted my doctor. I don't think I'd do it again honestly unless I was overdue. It was painful and I developed a fever during labor which resulted in an emergency c-section. But this is my experience others have had good ones with it.

Yes. Started cramping immediately. BabyGirl was born 42 hours later with no labor inducing medication, but I did get an epidural at hour 36ish.

Had the sweep done on Valentine's Day (of all days lol) and I had my first contraction that night which was a dull pain in my back. Contractions got stronger over the next day and my girl was born exactly 2 days after the sweep

Yes and it worked for me! 4 hours later I was in labor. I was already 3cm dialated when my OB did it
