I am choosing not to breastfeed as well and I never feel the need to explain my reasons to anyone who asks. I simply tell them that it's something I've researched and chosen not to do.

The people who voted yes are wrong. You are not any less of a mother, let alone a bad mother if you don't breast feed. You are just as good a mom as anyone else as long as you love and care for your baby

I'm not breastfeeding and I didn't with my son, and he's almost 5, and perfect as can be!

I was on the fence about it. Had not made up my mind yet and then I delivered at 29 weeks. I couldn't breastfeed but I did try pumping. I didn't get enough and dried up after 3 weeks. It was rough because so many people made me feel like crap for not being able to produce enough milk. Bottom line is you do what you want. Feed your baby how ever you see fit.

Nooo, it doesn't make you a bad mother if you choose not to breastfeed. Whatever you plan on doing, breastfeed or formula, both have the same purpose which is to feed the baby.

No! I choose to breastfeed exclusivey but thats just me. It's not for everyone. It is a lot of work. There is nothing wrong with formula. As long as your baby is healthy it shouldn't matter.

No it won't! Breastfeeding is a lot healthier(and cheaper) of course, but you do whatever you think is best for baby.
