If I don't allow my baby's father to be on the birth certificate will that keep him from paying child support? I want child support but I don't want him to be able to get custody of the baby.. He has been to jail numerous times but if he gets his act together somehow in 10 years wants custody I do not want him to have any control.. How can I receive child support and still be in total control and not have him be able to have custody
