Spray TAN ☀️ while pregnant???

Question

We leave for vacation in March. I will be 14 weeks then. I'm SO pale and a couple of the nights we are there we have events for my husbands work and have to dress up.... So being preggers and white legged is not so appealing to me! Lol

Ive read that tan lotions are fine, but anyone ever just get the spray tan??? Is it ok?

I didn't get a spray tan but I used Bondi sands new dry oil tan and seriously it's even better then a spray tan. You don't even need to wash it off it's amazing

I found a place that does air brush tanning using and organic/vegan solution, I loved having a little color for my baby shower 😍 go for it!

yes totally fine ! I've had them aswell as my pregnant sister.  my midwife commented on how healthy in looked and when I told her she said wonderful idea x

I have been curious too!!! I took this from the American Pregnancy Organization webpage.
Spray tanners or sunless tanners contain dihydroxyacetone, or DHA, which may be absorbed into your bloodstream either through your skin or by inhaling the spray. The effects of DHA on the pregnancy are simply not known — but it hasn't been proven to be safe in pregnancy. My general advice is to avoid it until it has been proven to cause no harm.

My doctor said no spray tans until after the first trimester but I don't know about after that

I'm sure it is! I haven't heard anything bad about it. I would get a more natural brand though and always look at the back and see what it says! Hope that helps :)
