Midwives at a hospital?

Is that allowed or depends on the hospital?

I'm in Australia and all our antenatal check ups u see the midwife, and sometimes the doctor after if there's any issues, there's a midwife when u deliver, it's so strange how other countries have such different practices for the same situation!

I have a midwife and I'll be doing an all natural delivery in a hospital, I honestly thought midwives  were normal

I go to a military hospital where the clinics are in the same hospital and I see a midwife for all my appointments and I'm fairly certain a midwife will be delivering my baby. An OB is usually reserved here for high risk patients and by request. Not sure how it works off base though.

I don't think so but you can have a doula

The midwife has to have hospital privileges. You can check the hospitals website- if they allow midwives they usually have a midwifery dept that you can browse.
