BFN!! But no AF??

AF was due to arrive around the 17th, still hasn't arrived and all tests are coming back negative.. Has this happened to anyone and dos you end up getting your BFP??

Me too. CD 45 13-14 days late. I took HPT came back very faint positive. Showed the nurse today when I went in for a blood test, she said t looked promising. They did a urine test first and theirs came back negative which I figured it would because my FMU came back so faint, and I wasn't using FMU at the doctors. Then the doctors said because their test came back negative that she "highly doubted" my blood test would come back positive. They are also testing my blood for hormone levels and thyroid just in case the quantitive HCG blood test came back negative. At least they are trying to figure out what's going on. I will know no later than 4pm tomorrow.

Your period, or a positive pregnancy test, depend completely on ovulation, and our bodies are not machines. If you ovulated late, or had an anovulatory cycle (both are normal every once in a while, especially while TTC), af will be late. If no egg has been released, there is no follicle to die and set off hormones to stimulate af. And if you ovulate late that pushes implantation back which would cause you to get a late positive.
