I am in great need of some advice. (Sorry for the length).

Back story: I moved to Minnesota from Nigeria with my family when I was 5. Been here most of my life and still have a strong connection to family back home. I became a citizen at 18 and have been living my life as an American.

Fast forward to 2014. My husband moves to Minnesota from Nigeria to go to school. We meet in July and get married. Yes, I've heard it all. "HE'S JUST WITH YOU FOR PAPERS." "HE DOESN'T REALLY LOVE YOU." "HE'S GONNA LEAVE YOU AND THE BABY." Blah blah blah. Until my husband gives me a reason to believe he is in it for anything else, I will keep my faith in him. Anyways, I am currently the only one working and he's going to school. We've began filing for his green card and he has his work authorization and he's been trying TIRELESSLY to find a job in ANYTHING. he's applied to factories, constriction, restaurants, group homes, airports, everything. And nothing has come back yet in the last month since he's gotten his authorization.

Now, I'm due May 30 and will not be able to work obviously for a few weeks. I am SCARED TO DEATH that he will not have a job by then and we will be struggling to get by or have to ask my family for money. We are doing fine right now and we have a savings account that I'm adding every spare money I have to try and prepare us for this time but I am sick with worry.

Has anybody else been through this that has come through? Even none Immigrants that have gone through the same thing, I could really use your help...
