What type of birth control works best?

I am going to the gyno tomorrow to get birth control and I'm not sure which type to get. I've narrowed it down to three. Thank you!

The shot is horrible. I would try the pills and if you forget to take them then consider an iud or implant

I have the arm implant called Nexplanon. It works for three years and you don't have to worry about getting pregnant since you don't have to do anything but walk around with it in your arm. I used to take pills and I would always forget to take them. The pills also made me gain 10 pounds. With this Nexplanon I have really light and short periods now. I love it!

Everyone is different, so the best choice for each person is going to be different.

For example, my choice would be condoms. I get horrible side effects from synthetic hormones, so none of the items in your poll are good for me.

I had an iud. It worked great. After 4 years my periods got really heavy and I would become anemic to the point it was hard to do anything. Be careful.
