Positive fetal fibronectin??

Question

Has anyone had a positive fetal fibronectin test come out positive? I had my routine one yesterday all have been negative except this one. I have a history of pre term delivery. My daughter was born at 31 weeks. I'll be 31 weeks tomorrow so atleast he may cook for another weeks or so. My question is... Has anyone had a positive test and delivered early? And has anyone had a positive test and held off and delivered past 36 weeks? I just got a steroid shot today get the other tomorrow and I've been on weekly progesterone injections since 17 weeks... Any advice would help. My mind is like a tornado right now!

I had a positive fetal fibronectin at 31 weeks after I went into labor early. Got the steroid shots and was put on bed rest with the expectation that she could come at any point by 33 weeks. I am now 35 weeks, 1 day!  We are currently looking at being induced early due to blood pressure and fluid level issues, but no more dilation or consistent contractions  :) It's totally possible! My dr explained that the test is actually more reliable when it's negative and a positive result is not always correct, but it is so scary!! Relax and try not to stress!
