When to check SO for fertility issues?

Husband is 36 and we've been bd since Feb14 without BC. I have a 5 yr old son from previous relationship and husband has 0 kids. When should I initiate scheduling a sperm analysis?? Waiting for s positive preg test is driving me nuts and waiting a year means time is ticking...

I would do it. I was shocked to find out my 33 year old husband had low sperm count and I did wait a year.  When you get over 30, 6 months is long enough

Protocol for fertility testing is 6 months actively trying if you're over 35, or a year if you're younger. It's time for him to get tested. I don't know what other steps you've taken, though, like Ovulation Predictor Kits to make sure you're having intercourse at fertile times or not. You might want to use those and/or chart your BBT a couple months first if he is reluctant.

Me and my husband just recently married August 16 however we were together and s active no contraceptives for 12 years we went to the dr knowing something was wrong after test elimination we learned hubby has low sperm good luck
