I'm 24 years old and have always had a decent immune system, hardly ever sick. I've never had a flu shot in all my years I can remember back, even thru most of my childhood. I've also never had the flu. I'm now 7 almost 8 weeks pregnant and I'm feeling pressured to get vaccinated. What are everyone's thoughts? New moms and veteran moms? It's my first pregnancy. I know there's lots of benefits to getting the vaccine and it being beneficial to my baby, but if I already have a great immune system would my baby not also get most of my antibodies to help them? I guess the question boils down to should I or should I not get the flu shot?
