Does anyone know anything about having a flat gestational sac? I'm only about 5 weeks and 5 days but I went in today for an early US due to some cramping and pain (they thought it was a possible ectopic). The ultrasound didn't show a heartbeat yet (I was told that could be normal this early) but the gestational sac was flatter than it should be and my midwife says that means that it will most likely end in a miscarriage. Has anyone had their US show up like this and been fine?
