I have a baby shower for a girl I really like today but have been getting over a cold since Wednesday.  I stayed home Thursday but was well enough w Sudafed to work Friday and go out to dinner.  I feel OK today but still sound very congested...email her mom to cancel last minute (which I hate!) or go ahead?  I don't want to make people uncomfortable...but I can sympathize w the party planners bc my shower is coming up in March.
