What should i avoid doing to prevent a miscarriage? I just found out I'm 5 weeks pregnant

Honestly, most miscarriages are not preventable and are nature's way of handling a baby that wasn't put together in a way that could live.
We like to feel like we are in control and make healthy choices, but the drawback is that if you miscarry you might blame yourself and think you could have done something differently.
Don't do drugs, legal or otherwise. Don't drink alcohol. Follow your midwife's advice. And try not to worry too much.

Too much caffeine, hot bath or sauna, and non-pasteurized dairy products, raw egg, raw meat, I think. Also shouldn't lift too heavy stuff.
