How many days past ovulation should you wait to take a pregnancy test?? I suspense is killingggggg me.

I waited till I skipped my period. Any sooner and the test won't pick up your HGC levels

14dpo is when you'd typically expect your period if you have the 'average' 14 day luteal phase (thus, the 2 week wait), but it is possible to get a positive days before then (per the "5 days sooner" tests). Although 5 days before your period sounds a bit of a stretch, (that would be about 9dpo)...I DID get a positive at 12dpo with my son. Hope that helps!!
