I'm trying to understand so maybe someone can help:). One of my high school friends always posts things that it's tough being a single mom and how badly she struggles. It's confusing because her ex (also a mutual friend of ours) pays child support and has their son half the week and most of the summer. Wouldn't this be a co parenting situation? Esp since her ex takes the son almost most of the time and pays child support. She also has a live in boyfriend. She never mentions how much support she gets from her ex. So is she doing these posts for attention or is she a true single parent? My friend grew up with just her mom with no support or visits from her dad so to me that's a true single mom sit. Idk. Lol.
