Can you have sex too much?

Question

So my husband and I are on CD #6, and we have made love everyday since my period started 6 days ago (period stopped 2 days ago). My fertile window (according to Glow and popular belief is February 2nd through February 9th). Numerous TTC buddies, after doing Ovulation Prediction Tests, have found that they ovulate early by a week or late by a week, compared to common ovulation times. This is why my husband & I have decided to make love everyday this cycle, 1st month TTC #2. 
I feel like we are doing the right thing for us, and of course we will continue to do what's right for us, but I have had some negative feedback on this app that I am having too much sex, that his sperm won't mature for fertilization, and that we are going to get burnt out with our sex life...when tonight we made love like it was the first time after six days in a row.
What's up with this thought process? All oppinions welcome. No anger here, just very curious..

Just remember to have fun with it. Only trust your doctor if you feel you are having too much sex. When I talked to my ob about starting to try she said have fun with it. That's it. Ignore the hate and HAVE FUN! Baby dust!!!!!

Just enjoy it! My hubby and I are trying for every day. Most likely we will do it twice a day the days up to ovulation, AM and PM.  We started on 1/30 and will go until 1/6 and then go back to our normal 1-2 times a week.  It's a great bonding experience and honestly I think it helps with out marriage and brings us closer and happier about ttc!  So go for it girl!

Current studies recommend sex every day.  It shows a higher conception rate than every other day.  The every other day mantra is based on outdated science.

I think it will make your sex life better which is equally important. After my husband and I started using the sex tracking function we became more active and seeing how many days in a row we could go. Every day got better. Why not enjoy the process?

They say that every day sex decreases the sperm count. .however,  I do not agree with that.  An adult male can ejaculate once a day without any "reduced" sperm count.

I've read more recently that sex everyday isn't a barrier at all. My husband and I are doing the same before, during and after my fertile window. The important thing is at least to be getting busy during your most fertile times. I'm TTC #1 in my second cycle in Feb too. Keep going at it girl! And enjoy the process 😉

I was told sex every other day. Sperm can survive up to 5 days (I think)
Plus if you have sex every day it doesn't give the sperm a chance to mature. However you do what ever makes you happy.  I've I could get my bloke to go every day i would!!

I would say No. Me and my fiance have been having sex almost every day and defo every day during my most fertile days and every time its like the first time. We r ttc #2 and since we started trying i can honestly say weve gotten closer and the bond we have now is better than ever. Dont listen to those who say that sex every day reduces the sperm count, have fun and fo what suits u and your hubby best ❤ xx
